How to create windows failover cluster with two nodes and iSCSI

windows cluster prerequisites :


  • Multiple NIC cards – it will avoid single point of failover
  • Storage – must use shared storage “Shared storage like DAS, NAS or SAN, you can use iSCSI for this as well”
  • DNS – domain name must be configured
  • All servers in the cluster must be in the same Active Directory domain
  • member server or domain controller but recommend that your clustered servers be a member servers.
  • Logged on with Domain user and must be permissions to Create Computer Objects and Read All Properties.
