SQL Server 2005 Express Tool Failed error while installation of SQL Server 2008

I am trying to install SQL Server 2008, and installation wizard is not allowing me to proceed further.

Throwing an error Rule "Sql Server 2005 Express tools" Failed

 

I tried to removing SQL Server 2005 Express tools from Uninstall Program window, but still i am getting the same error.

 

Steps to fix this issue with removing or editing following registry key.

 Solution
1) Start > Run > and type regedit.
2) In the Registry Editor kindly delete below value
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Software > Microsoft > Microsoft SQL Server > 90
3) Remove Registry Key 90.

 

Now Re-run the installation rules of SQL Server 2008 and the problem will resolve.
