Windows could not start the windows Firewall service on local computer

Issue : Machine unable to access over the network due to Windows Firewall Service Stopped Working. and getting below error while starting the service

 

Cause : There are several causes to stopped this service automatically

it might be user permission issue on the service OR registry key changes OR dependency service are stopped

Solution :

• Open registry editor using command - Go To the Run > regedit > Browse below registry key > HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SharedAccess
• Right click on  SharedAccess and click on Permissions
• click on Add Button and add "NT Service\MpsSvc" then click on OK ( Select Local Computer not a Domain while searching above user )
•  Assign Full Control for this user and click on OK

Restart the System and start the Windows firewall Service now, it should be working properly.
