Follow below Steps to enable and disable the "Switch User" Option in windows 7 and above operating systems..
1) Click on Start Menu > Run > cmd > Type "regedit" command to open Registry Editor2) Navigate the Below Key :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
3) In Right hand size panel click on "HideFastUserSwitching" and modify the value as below :
( Disabled - 1 and Enabled - 0 )
4) Restart the system.
Note : IF the "HideFastUserSwitching" dword value is not available then kindly create it and the modify the value as above.
