Procedure to install windows 7 or 8 on a Mac via bootcamp using a CD or USB

Dual Boot Mac OSX and Windows 7 or 8 using Bootcamp :

 

First Step : Insert the Windows 7 or 8 installable CD\DVD ( Either Use Internal or External DVD Rom )
Open Boot Camp Assistant Located at Application > Utilities



Select "Install Windows 7 or Later version" and Click on Continue.


 
Drag the Divider (Mark in Red Circle above snap) to set the size of the partitions and then click on Install

Boot Camp Assistant will start to create a partitions and Restart your Mac machine Automatically. and opens the Windows Installer.

On the Windows installer Follow the on screen instruction until it ask installation Method Like Upgrade or Custom ( Choose Custom Installation )

Select the Partition "BOOTCAMP " and Format the Drive using "Drive Option(advanced)"

 

Click on Next so it will Start the windows installation.
After installation complete your Macbook Air will Restart Automatically and Start the Windows By default.

Note : To Switch the Dual boot operating system Kindly Restart the Macbook Air and keep pressing the "Option" key on the Keyboard.
