SQL Server : Installation Rules Error - Reporting Services Catalog Database File Existence

While Installation of SQL Server 2008, Installation Rules Failed to passed the "Reporting Services Catalog database"

 

Cause :

The setup found Catalog database files in system drive at the default location of sql server database as follows.

C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\DATA

Solution :

Delete\Remove below mentioned database files from the C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\DATA
 

ReportServer.mdf
ReportServer_log.LDF
ReportServerTempDB.mdf
ReportServerTempDB_log.LDF

Once you deleted the database files kindly re-run the installation rules..
